Many divers combine Bali and Komodo into a single Indonesia trip. Bali serves as the main international gateway, and the short flight to Labuan Bajo makes it easy to add Komodo diving to any Bali holiday.

|---|---|---|---|
| 10 days total | 3 days Bali → fly to Labuan Bajo → 4 days Komodo diving → 1 rest day → fly back to Bali → 1 day Bali → depart | 4 (12 dives) | $1,500–2,500 |
| 14 days total | 4 days Bali → fly to Labuan Bajo → 6 days Komodo diving + dragon trek → 1 rest day → fly back to Bali → 2 days Bali → depart | 6 (18 dives) | $2,000–3,500 |

| 10–14 days (crossing) | 3 days Bali → board liveaboard in Bali → 7–11 night crossing to Labuan Bajo via Sumbawa and Moyo → explore Labuan Bajo → fly back to Bali → depart | 7–10 (20–30 dives) | $4,000–8,000 |
While in Bali, you can also dive some excellent local sites before or after your Komodo trip:
Book your Bali-to-Labuan Bajo flights early, especially during peak season. Morning flights are preferred so you arrive in Labuan Bajo with time to check in at your dive centre or accommodation. Return flights to Bali run throughout the day, allowing a relaxed final morning in Labuan Bajo.
Important reminder: Schedule at least 18 to 24 hours between your last dive and any flight. If your last dive day in Komodo is a Tuesday, fly back to Bali on Wednesday afternoon at the earliest.
