Wainilu is Komodo's answer to Lembeh Strait, offering the best muck diving in the national park. The dark volcanic sand bottom is home to ribbon eels, frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, and mandarin fish. This site rewards patient, slow diving with incredible macro finds on nearly every dive. The sheltered bay location means calm conditions year-round, making it accessible to all certification levels.
