Mawan

Mawan is Komodo's lesser-known manta cleaning station, offering longer and more intimate manta encounters than the busier Manta Point. The reef features a sandy bottom with scattered coral bommies that serve as cleaning stations. Fewer boats visit this site, which often means calmer conditions and closer manta interactions. Reef manta rays are the primary attraction, with occasional visits from oceanic mantas.
