Water temperatures in Komodo vary significantly between the north and south of the park and by season:

• North (March-May): 27-29°C — warm and comfortable in a 3mm wetsuit
• South (July-September): 22-26°C — cooler upwellings bring nutrient-rich water, 5mm recommended
• Transition months: Temperatures can vary by 5°C between dive sites on the same day
