Will I see manta rays in Komodo?

Komodo is one of the best places in the world to see manta rays! Both reef mantas and oceanic mantas visit the park:

• Peak season (December-February): Manta Alley and Karang Makassar — large aggregations of reef mantas feeding on plankton
• Year-round: Individual mantas spotted at various sites, especially cleaning stations

Manta encounters are never guaranteed, but success rates during peak season exceed 90%. Your dive guide will know the best spots based on current conditions.
