Should I choose a liveaboard or day trips?

Both options have their advantages:

Liveaboard pros:

• Access remote southern sites that day boats can't reach
• Dawn and dusk dives when marine life is most active
• 3-4 dives per day vs 2-3 on day trips
• No travel time between dives

Day trip pros:

• More flexible scheduling
• Cheaper per day
• Can explore Labuan Bajo in the evenings
• Good for shorter trips (1-3 days)

For serious divers wanting the full Komodo experience, we recommend a 3-4 night liveaboard followed by 1-2 days of day trips.
